(A) An esthetician shall provide cosmetology services within a salon where the license is current, active, and appropriate to the scope of practice of esthetics for an esthetician as set forth in section 4713.01 of the Revised Code and the rules of the board. (5) A student engaging, as a student, in work connected with a branch of cosmetology taught at the school of cosmetology at which the student is enrolled; (6) Practicing a branch of cosmetology without a license or registration if the individual does so for free for the purpose of researching or developing a cosmetic as defined in section 3715.01 of the Revised Code. 43-1-19(h) (2)), with the exception of Music Therapy and Lactation Consultants, for any purpose other than a hearing before the board; however, the board is authorized to release such records to another enforcement agency or lawful licensing authority.
